GPS acquires British caterer Compass in Brazil

GPS, a professional services operator, has signed an agreement to acquire GRSA, a catering provider, from the British group Compass.

TozziniFreire Advogados represents GPS in Brazilian law. Compass is advised by Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and, in Brazilian law, by Mattos Filho.

The transaction was signed on March 27. Its value was not disclosed. However, it represents the largest acquisition to date by GPS, which has been growing in recent years through a string of acquisitions.
